Te Pou Theatre Brand Enhancement
Summary
In this project brief, we have been tasked with enhancing the presence of Te Pou Theatre among the West Auckland community and beyond. We must create an enhanced brand identity with high quality assets which amplify the ability for the theatre to host shows, events and festivals that align with Te Pou’s kaupapa whilst reaching to a wider target audience.

Template Posters
These posters are used for theatre event advertisement, keeping the Te Pou Theatre brand cohesive throughout all collateral. Assets may be swapped and text is interchangable.

Buisness Cards
The lasting impression is the tempting business card, refined and sharp, aligned with Te Pou Theatre’s kaupapa in it’s subtle, yet impactful patterns and professional text layout.
Static Interactive Poster & The Theatre Visit
Our Static Interactive Poster is a way for Noah’s interactive poster to be seen in a static format, showcasing the red curtain kaokao patterns and the cosmic gradients that are present throughout the rest of our collateral.
To gather a more personal impression of the space and staff, our class working on the brief visited the theatre. Beginning with a musical karakia, the Te Pou Theatre staff welcomed us into their wonderful space. The guitar strums bounced off the walls in a musical dance. The whole experience was a pleasure for us, and we all enjoyed getting to know the team and the space, which reflected the soulful energy of both the performers and those working behind the scenes.
The first image is of our class and the Te Pou Theatre team in the foyer space at the theatre. The second image is all of us on our final presentation day, relieved the project is over but above that, happy to have experienced these wonderful memories.
That’s me!
Venue Hire Poster
Our venue hire poster advertises the theatre as a shared stage, encouraging those who wish to share their story, to reach out. Theatre groups developing stage performance within Te Ao Maori builds the spirit and culture of Te Pou Theatre’s space, we would like to share this kaupapa with more communities.
At the top of the poster, the Matariki stars are seen in view, linking back to the celebration in the coming weeks after this project, the important values shared within the celebration and connection Te Pou Theatre has with the Matariki stars, with the skylights seen on the roof at the theatre’s space.
